I've received a few questions about donations since I've started this site. I'm very flattered and wasn't really expecting anyone to want to help in this way. Because more than one person has asked I figured I should address it here.
When I bought my trailer in June I joked with everyone at work that I will only be accepting Hope Depot gift cards for any gifts from here on out, but there is some truth behind that. For those of you who want to help, or for any family/friends unsure what to get me for Christmas, a gift card is a great way to help. Thanks to my spreadsheet on the budget resources page, anyone can see where I plan to get my materials from. The big ones are Home Depot, Lowes and Amazon. A gift certificate to Livingston ACE would also be helpful for those little unexpected purchases that I don't want to run over to Bozeman to get as well.
Or, if you have time or a skill you'd like to donate during the building process that's an option. If you are an electrician who wants to help, that'd be great during the wiring process. Or maybe you have no skills at all but just want to do something; there should be a job for everyone. I'm know I'm going to appreciate help during the painting process(both indoors and outdoors).
Lastly, if you have a connection that could help me get a good deal on any of my materials, I'd love it if I was pointed in their direction. Perhaps you even have some extra leftovers from an old project that you'd like to get out of the garage...
Email is the best way to get a hold of me to discuss any of these options further if you are interested. My address can be found by clicking on the envelope button in the upper right corner of any page on my site.
