I finished up the flashing and taping over the past two days and it feels great. Next up is framing the subfloor.
I haven't really seen any other tinyhousers use flashing tape like this on their metal flashing, but I think it was a good idea here. It seems like most people have a nice trailer deck to attach their flashing to so they can nail and staple every other inch if they wanted to to create a nice seal. I only had select cross bars to attach to and between those the metal bowed up and did its own thing and there was nothing I could do about it. So, I decided to use 6" wide flashing tape usually used around windows and doors to tape over all the seams and screws. It was a fun and easy job and I'd say only took 2 hours. Adding that tape gave me great peace of mind too. I now know there's no way water is going to get in and rot my subfloor, which is important because I really only have one chance to get this right.
I think tomorrow morning I'm going to start framing the subfloor...
