I woke up to check the stats on by site and it said I had 301 visitors at about 10 in the morning. I came home from work and I had 493. This is big because in the past the most views I've ever had was about 90. Even stranger was I haven't shown anyone anything or updated any posts in about a week. Well a few minutes ago I was doing my internet rounds and checking up on tinyhouse news and I found out Macy Miller of Minimotives shared my site! This is kind of a big deal for me because now I feel like a freshman getting to sit with the cool seniors at school.
Macy finished her home last year and was featured in the New York Times*, NPR and has stories coming out in Time and Dwell magazines so I am VERY flattered she thought my project was worth following. There have been a few other new people who have showed interest in my build that have been flattering for me as well, but I'd like to specifically thank Macy for her support and linking my build.
And welcome to anyone new, I hope I'm interesting enough to follow throughout the summer and am excited to have you. Now I'll REALLY have to be responsible in putting out new content and sticking to my plan/budget. But I'm okay with that...
*I could have sworn she had a little article on NYT, but I can't find it anywhere so maybe I'm making it up.
